Basic Facts

Stichting Vluchteling provides funds in approximately 20 countries on each continent of the world. The annual budget for aid projects is about 12 million euros. In 2007: 7,5% was spent on emergency aid, 43% on structural aid and 49% on reconstruction. Stichting Vluchteling has 100,000 private contributors in the Netherlands who donated more than 4 million euros in 2004. The Dutch Government contributed about 3.4 million euros to refugee projects in 2007 and we received 4.2 million euros from the Dutch Postcode Lottery.
